Our Mission

As a member of The Senior’s Choice, the nation’s largest network of independent private duty companies, our mission is to ensure a better quality of life for our elderly clients and their families by providing dependable and affordable care. We are passionate about our home care services and offer a personal touch that enriches the lives of those for whom we care. We do not discriminate by color, race, creed, religion, sexual orientation, or gender identity.

Our focus is to keep you or your loved ones at home, where their hearts are, and to avoid loss of friends and possessions, loss of independence and freedom, and loss of spirit which is drained by the battles of daily living. Our caring service makes it possible for the elderly to maintain as much independence as possible, by providing the appropriate in-home assistance and companionship. We pride ourselves on matching highly qualified, compassionate caregivers to fit the personality, interests, and sense of humor of your loved ones. In that way, we lift the spirits not only of seniors, but of the family caregiver as well.

Education and Qualifications

We are committed to learning as much as we can about the various conditions that our patients may have. Supporting numerous causes and organizations helps us understand how to serve our clients in the best way possible. This involvement, paired with our dedication to home care, facilitates the unmatched service that we can offer.

Mr. Bradshaw, the owner, is certified by the National Association of Social Workers and Local Boards of Nursing to deliver continuing education credits. John is also a Certified Dementia Care Practitioner and has completed a fellowship with the National Hospital Readmission Prevention Collaborative making him an expert on the complicated subject of preventable hospital readmission.

Why Georgetown Home Care?

There are numerous reasons that families choose Georgetown Home Care for their elderly loved ones:

1. Understanding

Georgetown Home Care was founded by a family who understands the challenges of caring for an aging loved one firsthand. Tim and John Bradshaw cared for their father themselves before hiring primary caregivers. This experience inspired the brothers to help others dealing with similar situations.

2. Continuous Staff Development

The social workers and caregivers at Georgetown Home Care receive continual opportunities for professional development and training, allowing them to offer clients the highest standard of care.

4. Unmatched Personalized Care

At Georgetown Home Care, we offer our clients personalized care by matching them with compassionate, highly qualified caregivers. When assigning caregivers to clients, we take into consideration their interests, personalities and sense of humor.

9. Free In Home Assessment

At Georgetown Home Care, we know that every individual we care for is unique; for this reason, we offer a free in home assessment. This assessment allows us to determine the needs of each senior and tailor care to fit those needs.

10. Easy Payment Methods

Bi-weekly payments using a credit card or direct debit make ensuring your loved one receives the care he or she needs easy. Direct debit allows for the payment to be automatically deducted from a checking account. American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Discover credit cards are also accepted.

If you or your loved ones live in the Washington DC Metro Area and wish to remain independent in their own home for as long as possible, then contact Georgetown Home Care to discuss your care needs. In-home care is our specialty, and we can help!
